BtoBet, which is part of the Aspire Global platform, has decided to expand its presence in Latin America after forming a partnership with William Hill. Namely, BtoBet will offer platform access to William Hill, as part of the agreement to strengthen their position in the Columbian regulated market.
Strengthening the position in the Latin American market
The CEO of Aspire Global Tsachi Maimon said that this partnership demonstrates the strength and seriousness of their services and paves the way to further expand into worldwide regulated markets. Aspire Global is a powerful substation for iGaming operators, and this deal is only a step towards their vision to become the lead iGaming supplier in the world.
We’ve reported just recently that Aspire Global made its first steps towards the Russian iGaming market. They will offer their premium platform access to the biggest lottery supplier in Russia Sports Lotteries LLC. Moreover, they’ll be their strategic partner, sealing a 3-year deal with an option for further extension.
Aspire Global acquired Btobet in September this year and has established as the leading sportsbook provider in Latin America. After the market announced its regulation processes in 2016, BtoBet notices continuous growth and demonstrates a commitment for further expansion.
The CEO of William Hill Ulrik Bengtsson said that they are excited by the partnership and the opportunity to provide a full gaming experience to Columbian players. He adds they are always considering the best-localised market solutions, and BtoBet enjoys a good reputation in the Colombian market.
William Hill acquires Colombian operator Alfabet
This partnership comes right after William Hill announced the acquisition of Alfabet, a well established Colombian operator. William Hill acquired most operators’ stakes, stating that this move supports their international expansion and growth strategy.
This move has sealed Colombia as the ninth regulated market where William Hill are currently active and operating. Alfabet, on the other side, holds a licence that offers sports betting and online casino games throughout the region. Colombia is the first Latin American country that has established a European approach to licencing systems.
The CEO of William Hill adds that the Colombian market represents a role model for the Latin American iGaming sector. He further adds that they are delighted by the opportunity to deliver competitive, engaging and safe player experience under William Hill’s guidance. However, William Hill and BtoBet are not the only ones entering the Colombian market. Earlier this month, GVC Holdings and Entain have formed a strategic partnership to start their operations in this country, by gaining a licence to operate.
The latest news proves that Aspire Global and BtoBet have a good vision for the future international market expansion. They understand the requirements and market demands, catching up with the latest trends and operators ‘needs. They currently operate in over 40 regulated countries including Nigeria, Mexico, Poland, Ireland and many more.
