New partnerships between software providers and operators are constantly being signed in the iGaming industry. This is a way to expand in new markets and gain a new audience.

Yggdrasil enters a deal with leading operator Slotbox

Yggdrasil, one of the well-known software providers in the industry, is now entering a deal with leading operator Slotbox to boost the reach of its games portfolio.

This deal will enable Slotbox to get access to Yggdrasil’s titles and also games developed through the provider’s YG Masters initiative. Slotbox customers will gain access to the many titles featuring Yggdrasil’s Game Engagement Mechanics (GEM). The same applies to recent releases.

Slotbox is a casino operator in Ireland and has eight locations across the country. Its online branch was launched in 2020, powered by the Gaming Innovation Group platform.

This partnership with Yggdrasil is significant as a new audience around the world can now reach its most popular and new releases.

The Director of Commercial Operations at Yggdrasil, Andrew Pegler said with the alliance with Slotbox they will enhance their global presence and that it is fantastic to work with such a renowned and established operator with a strong land-based history. He continues:

“We continue to strike important strategic partnerships and grow our global presence, taking our fantastic slot collection to even more players.”

A Slotsbox spokesman said their online brand is going from strength-to-strength and they are thrilled to further bolster their offering with Yggdrasil’s premium slots. The spokesman then said:

“We aim to offer our customers engaging and entertaining experiences and Yggdrasil’s slots have proven longevity and a big fan-following.”

Pragmatic Play signs a deal with DANZ to develop Sports Betting

The sports subscription service DANZ has now entered a deal with Pragmatic Play Group made of ‘Pragmatic Solutions’ and ‘Pragmatic Play’, generating a completely new business entity in Gilbraltar.

This deal will facilitate the creation of an integrated gambling product, which means the customers could bet as their simultaneously stream their live subscription content.

The launch of the service is strategically set for the start of the European soccer season, as the media group has influence in Austria, Germany, Brazil and Spain.

Peter Permenter at DAZN who is a Senior VP said the sports subscription will remain the core business focus besides the continuous look to develop new revenue opportunities.

Shay Segev, the CEO at DAZN said this agreement will enable Pragmatic Play to be fit for the future.
