NetEnt’s Conan slots was one of the biggest announcement at the 2019 London iGaming conference. It is inspired by the fictional character Conan the Barbarian who originated in pulp fiction magazines and has since been adapted to books, comics, films, and apparently – online slot games. The release of the slot is scheduled for the second half of 2019, so the information we have is limited, but will be updated once the game goes live.

This sword and sorcery-themed game will be the latest addition to NetEnt’s selection of branded titles, including Narcos, Vikings, Jumanji, Planet of the Apes, Guns n’ Roses, Motörhead  and Jimi Hendrix.

So far, the only information regarding the slot itself is that it will have five reels, three rows and 20 paylines. If the software provider has stayed loyal to the story, we should be seeing some of the famous characters as symbols on the reels. Joining the main character, Conan, we might also see the evil sorceress and the beautiful girl who falls in love with Conan.

NetEnt released a trailer for Conan slots in which you can see a deserted land, ravished by war and drenched in blood. Conan appears at the end as a silhouette on his sword, after avenging his father and his village.

Conan is a Cimmerian. He was born on a battlefield and is the son of a village blacksmith. By age fifteen, he was already a respected warrior who had participated in the destruction of the Aquilonian fortress of Venarium. After his parents were killed and his tribe was destroyed by a savage warlord and sorcerer, Conan becomes a slave. After he is set free, he goes on a quest as he vows to avenge his parents and solve the riddle of steel.
