Surf the crest of the wave in search of sun, sand, and massive riches

Wild Water Slot

Wild Water Slot Review

Ahh, the Pacific. Warm sun, sandy beaches, palm trees and wild waves… sounds idyllic, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, not everyone can afford such vacation, but there’s an alternative – Wild Water slots! The destination is the Pacific Islands, but the time is the 1960s, with cheeky outfits and even a surfing hippy to complete the laid back scene. Keep reading to find out more about this NetEnt release.

Wild Water Slots Overview

Wild Water slots plays out over five reels and twenty fixed paylines; it’s all set against the backdrop of an island beach scene with palm trees, blue skies and of course a VW Camper Van. A groovy, vintage rock-n-roll tune plays in the background of Wild Water and it's highlighted with the sound of ocean waves gently splashing against the shore.

As soon as you load the game, you’ll notice that most of the symbols are stacked which means that they can cover more than one position on a single reel. There are only five main symbols and they are all surfers which are identified by the colour of their outfit – blue, green, yellow, orange and red. The sunset surfer is the only basic symbol which doesn’t appear stacked.

The scatter symbol is another surfer and he’s also the key to the main feature. Surfing wouldn’t be fun without a bit of shark danger, right? So, you have a wild shark symbol which will substitute for everything else except the scatter.

How To Play Wild Water Slots

Before tackling the wild waters alongside the game’s characters, you should select your bet. The bet level is regulated with the "Level" selector. The coin size, ranging from 0.01 to 0.5, can be set using the "Coin Value" selector. “Spin” starts spinning the reels, “Max Bet” spins them at the highest bet and “Autoplay” allows you to set the reels to spin for a predetermined number of times uninterrupted.

Wild Water slots allows you to splash back in time wherever you wish: with Linux, Windows, or Mac on a laptop or desktop computer.

How To Win Wild Water Slots

The highest value symbol is your classic sunglasses-sporting surfer dude, in red trunks with a red surfboard in his hand. Landing five of this on a payline will award you with 500 coins. The next value down is a pretty woman with dark hair in an orange swimsuit, paying 250 coins for five-of-a-kind combination. The middle-value symbol is a cool guy in yellow standing in front of a yellow surfboard, worth 100 coins for five. Then, you have a typical hippie guy in a mostly green setting, with hip-length black hair, a peace symbol around his neck, and a drum at his feet. If you manage to land five such symbols on a payline, you’ll be awarded with 75 coins Finally, the last symbol is a pretty lady in a light blue bikini, leaning against a light blue surfboard. Five-of-a-kind combination of this symbol also pays 75 coins.

The highest-paying symbol of all, though, is the smaller square Golden Surfer. It can appear on any reel, in both the main game and Free Spins, and pays 2000 coins for five.

Our Wild Water Slots Review

This is one of the simpler releases from Net Entertainment of late but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable. The stacked symbols help form winning combinations and the bonus features are nice as well.

You can also find out the story behind Wild Water slots, telling of five surfing friends who have all gone to the beach in order to relax and catch some waves with each other. It’s a nice tribute to such an era, and it’s a game that you will enjoy playing.

Don’t just dream about going somewhere at the seaside – play Wild Water slots and experience the fun!
