Reel Joke™ is a game by Malta-based Wazdan provider. Wazdan is not one of the largest or most popular online slot providers, but there are some quite popular games produced and released by Wazdan.

Now, this game was released in November 2020, so it was just ahead of the holidays, but unlike other games that are generally released at this time of the year, it doesn’t feature a holiday theme. It’s just a standard slot, with a more retro theme, but a modern design and feel.

There’s one difference compared to standard slots which usually feature a five by three layout, this game comes with a slightly larger frame – it is six by four.

There are 20 paylines, there’s a multiplier in the main game, your winnings can be multiplied by a maximum of nine times and there are moving reels as well.

The maximum amount that you can win in the Reel Joke™ slot is 9,500 times your wager, which is pretty much standard for a conventional slot of this sort.

Design, Symbols and Graphics

As we said, the theme is somewhat retro and standard, so it won’t be a huge surprise, as, to be fair, it doesn’t bring a lot of novelty to the table. It does include an interactive element called the Buy Feature.

Graphically, the Joker placed on the side of the reels is the main character in the Reel Joke™ slot. It is an animated somewhat realistic character dressed as a medieval castle joker.

The symbols on the other hand are quite classic and standard – there are standard card symbols, bars, bells, diamonds, lucky 7s and a wild symbol.

Still in all fairness to Wazdan and all potential players, despite the fact that the theme is one that we’ve seen before on a number of occasions, the game is still quite playable and entertaining.

The Moving Reels is the first bonus feature. It is triggered after any winning combination. It causes all symbols on the reels to shift one position to the right, so you’ll retain a lot of the winning symbols that appeared on the first five reels. The new symbols that appear on reel one will give you a chance to get a new win without an additional wager. If you do win again the reels will keep on moving.

Infinite Multiplier

The special feature is called Infinite Multiplier. It can be awarded randomly and it starts at x3, x5, x7 or x9 and it can go from there, each time the multiplier is boosted by x1. The joker is the wild symbol in both the base game and during the special features.
