Embark on a journey to the vast Siberia and try the Siberian Storm slot! With a free spins round that can pay up to 1,000x the stake, you might become really interested in this five-reel slot game. It has an exciting 3x4x5x4x3 grid which instantly caught my eye as a one-of-a-kind game.
About Siberian Storm Slot
Siberian Storm is an online slot developed from IGT. It’s inspired by the majestic Siberian tiger, also known as the Amur tiger. The game has 5 reels in total, which sounds pretty standard, but they’re differently arranged here. Namely, the Siberian Storm slot plays on a 3-4-5-4-3 layout, which I find awesome.
You can land winning combinations with at least 3 matching symbols on a total of 720 paylines. This game belongs to the MultiWay Xtra group, meaning that it provides multiple paylines due to the unusual reel setup. This is something that I particularly enjoyed when playing the Siberian Storm slot.
If you want to play this game too, remember that the betting options range from £0.50 to £100 per spin, resulting in maximum payouts of 1,000x the stake. Not only that, but the Siberian Storm slot offers a free spins feature for extra reel action.
Design, Symbols and Graphics
Siberian Storm has been released in 2011, so its design and graphics are a little outdated, but still stunning for the time being launched. As soon as the game loads, you’ll be taken to cold Siberia. The gameplay takes place in a dark forest where the trees are covered in ice. I mostly enjoyed the part when I landed a win and the Siberian tiger appeared to roar to me!
The reels are filled with a variety of symbols divided into two groups. The first group is for the low-paying symbols, designed as different types of Russian relics, in various colours and shapes. The second group includes the high-paying symbols, which include the Siberian tiger, an orange tiger, a gold claw, the eye of the tiger, an emerald ring, and the game logo.
The Siberian Storm slot also has a scatter symbol and a wild, and they are represented by game-related images with their respective words across them. The wild symbol can only appear on reels two, three and four, substituting for all others except the scatter, helping to make winning combinations.
RTP, Variance and Payouts for Siberian Storm Slot
The average RTP of the Siberian Storm slot is 96%, which is a decent percentage. It’s combined with medium variance, providing equal chances of landing low and high wins across the 720 paylines. And as I said above, the maximum payout is 1,000x the stake per spin.

Gameplay and Features on Siberian Storm Slot
The Siberian Storm slot has one main bonus feature which I believe everyone loves - the Free Spins feature!
Free Spins Feature
This feature is triggered when five tiger’s eye symbols land on consecutive reels. Then, you’ll get 8 free spins.
Better yet, with this feature, if you manage to land more than one combination on a spin, the wins will be totalled and awarded. This means you can earn up to 96 spins initially!
During the Free Spins feature, the reels will be slightly different in the sense that some of the symbols will be new. Notably, there will be the addition of the white Siberian tiger’s eye and when five of these land across consecutive reels, an additional eight free spins will be rewarded.
The Siberian Storm slot game’s Free Spins Bonus feature will end when no free spins remain, or when 240 free spins have been won and used.
The same MultiWay Xtra Awards technology will be used during the bonus feature, as it is for the rest of the game. Plus, the same coin value that was used when the feature was triggered will be used throughout the duration of the free spins round.
Other IGT Slots
IGT is one of the oldest gaming studios which started its story with land-based slot machines. However, they’ve turned to the online scene and given us some awesome slots. I recommend you check the following IGT slots: Golden Goddess, Midas Match, and Family Guy!
SlotsWise Verdict
All things considered, in the Siberian Storm slot, you can look forward to fantastic gameplay! With 750 ways to win, this is a high-action slot where combos are often ripping across the reels. As if that wasn't enough, the Wilds can often be stacked, adding, even more, the impetus to those combo runs.
The Free Spins Bonus feature comes with just eight spins initially, although these can be retriggered. Significantly, the reels will be stuffed with extra goodies, even on top of the already-generous 720 Ways To Win and Stacked Wilds. And who doesn’t want extra perks?
Despite its outdated graphics, Siberian Storm is still a very good slot with plenty of hot reel action keeping players coming back to the Siberian wilderness. Enjoy!
