This week, we are joined by David Mann, Chief Commercial Officer at Swintt. Swintt is an award-winning provider that entered the iGaming industry a couple of years ago and managed to achieve incredible success. As a result, the company has an extensive portfolio of high-quality games.

Welcome, David! We're glad to have you as our special guest in this week's interview series. Before we begin, could you introduce yourself and Swintt to our readers?
"My name is David Mann and I am Chief Commercial Officer at Swintt. I have been working within the greater industry since 2008, starting out in the retail betting shops back in Scotland. In 2019 I had the opportunity to take Swintt from the ground up and three years later, I’m still here and incredibly proud of the results we’ve achieved so quickly.
Swintt is a casino games provider, which has been recently named Rising Star in Casino Innovation/Software at the SBC Awards 2021. Swintt was founded in 2019 and since then it established itself as one of the industry’s most sought-after game providers. We focus on delivering localised content that helps operators grow in their chosen market with a diverse portfolio of products including slots, live dealer titles and powerful gamification tools."
What is your approach to game development? How much time does it take to make a new game at Swintt, from idea to release?
This really varies from title to title, however developing games is a process that usually takes several months from the initial idea to the game launch. The fun part is to come up with a theme and what kind of mechanics will each game have and it's always very exciting to see how the ideas develop into the final products and games that are very popular among the players.
You recently released the Viking Honour XtraWild slot and the Continental Princess slot. What can players expect from these games?
"Continental Princess is Swintt's latest Premium release with 10 fixed paylines and a max win of 1000x bet. This game fits great the carnival season with its main feature, which is a princess dancing in the Latin rhythm, acting like an Expanding Wild and triggering up to 3 re-spins.
Viking Honour XtraWild™ is our latest game launch in the Xtra series. This is an exciting, 5x3 and 30 paylines game with many Wilds and Free Spins features. It is inspired by the Norse warriors of old and invites players to a great raid to the sky high wins of up to 6,261x their stake. The innovation of this game is the Wild Selector on the left side of the reel, which replaces a random symbol with a wild at the start of each round."
At SlotsWise, we really enjoy the XtraWays feature in the Rock N’ Ways XtraWays slot. What inspired you to create this game? Was it challenging to combine the gameplay with the XtraWays?
"I am very pleased to hear that you enjoy playing Rock N Ways XtraWays™, I really like this game too. We have always wanted to create a rock theme game and once we introduced XtraWays feature in Lone Rider XtraWays™, we saw a great opportunity to combine the music theme with this exciting feature that increases the pulse and anticipation. I think we achieved what we aimed for - a popular title with great music, nice design and entertaining XtraWays feature with up to 262,144 ways and a max win of up to 25,000x bet."
Your product SwinttLive offers a smooth Live Dealer experience on mobile devices. Could you tell us more about it?
Our SwinttLive is a casino product designed specifically for mobile. You have quite an extensive portfolio of slots and table games. If you were to choose a favourite game, what would it be and why?
"My favourite game is our recently released Aloha Spirit XtraLock™. This game has a Hawaiian theme, two exciting features and a max win of an amazing 200,500x bet. The main feature, Tiki XtraLock™, is triggered by six or more Tiki masks in a single round, which will all lock in place as five Tiki Spins are awarded.
Any additional Tiki symbols will also lock in place and they form larger Tiki shape symbols, which offer an extra spin within the shape with awesome prizes. You have a strong presence across European markets. Do you have plans on expanding your business to more markets?
"Yes, we certainly do. We are looking into several opportunities so there are exciting times for Swintt ahead. We are currently operating on MGA and SGA markets and we went recently live in Baltic countries. The Netherlands is our next market with a range of our games already certified and ready to go, and our first operator launching soon.
It’s worth remembering our land-based slot games are also very popular across the gaming halls of the Netherlands as well as Germany, allowing our clients to quickly launch popular, familiar games into their online casinos. We are planning to expand into more markets later this year."
What else can we expect from Swintt in 2022?
"There is a lot, but perhaps the most exciting is our first branded title in a collaboration with Vinnie Jones, The Crown, which will be released at the end of April. This game will offer a lot of features and multiple bonus rounds so there is definitely a lot to look forward to. Stay tuned!"
