Since the Drop 'Em slot is the third release from the ‘Em series by Hacksaw Gaming, it’s only natural to assume it'll be better than the ones before.

The Drop ‘Em slot is set on a 5-reel, 6-row grid, with 7,776 paylines. In order to form a win, players need to hit at least three identical symbols on neighbouring reels, starting from the first one on the left.

Design, Symbols and Graphics

Drop ‘Em is a cartoon-inspired slot, and it’s done immaculately. As I mentioned, the main characters are set on each side of the grid, and the symbols and the grid are made out of wood, which only adds more atmosphere to the background and the overall look of the slot. 

Regarding the graphics, this slot is very smooth, and when hitting a new spin, the wooden symbols drop one by one, reel by reel, which I personally found very interesting and different. 

The symbols in the Drop Em slot are divided into low and high paying, as in all slots. On one hand, the low-paying symbols include the 10-A card ranks, which will payout 0.5x the bet for a five-of-a-kind win.

On the other hand, the high-paying symbols include a bird, a leaf, a skull, a snake, and a lightning bolt. Their payout for a five-of-a-kind varies from 1.5x up to 5x the bet. The Wild in this game has the power to replace any winning symbol, and for five wilds, you can receive a payout of 20x the bet.

Besides the base game, the Drop Em slot has a couple of extra features: the Drop symbol, Drop Spins Bonus, High Drop Spin Bonus, and Wild Drop Spins Bonus. Let's explain them in more detail.

Drop Symbol

Hitting at least one Drop symbol will trigger the Drop feature. When this happens, all Drop symbols will fall from the grid, and remove symbols beneath them as well. The empty spaces left behind get replaced with random symbols, and any paying symbol, including the Wild, can come in their place. 

Drop Spins Bonus

Hitting 3 Free Spins (FS) symbols will trigger the Drop Spins round, and 10 spins will be awarded. Hitting an additional FS symbol will trigger 1, 2, or 3 additional spins or an Upgrade. Landing an Upgrade will trigger from 1 up to 10 symbols to be removed from the pool, but this doesn’t apply to Wilds. 

High Drop Spins Bonus

To trigger the High Drop Spins Bonus, players need to hit 4 FS symbols in the base game, which awards 10 free spins. However, this feature begins with only high-paying symbols and Wilds in the pool. The Upgrade feature is available in High Drop Spins Bonus too, and landing the FS symbol while the feature is active, you can receive three additional free spins too. 

Wild Drop Spins Bonus

Hitting 5 FS symbols will trigger the Wild Drop Spins Bonus, and 10 free spins are awarded immediately. Landing additional FS symbols can trigger 1, 2, or 3 extra free spins. While this feature is active, the only symbol that works with the Drop mechanic is the Wild.

First things first, the Drop 'Em slot takes place in a forest setting, and you've got these adorable characters holding down the fort on opposite ends of the grid. Now, being the third release from the 'Em series, I had high hopes, and it didn't disappoint!

As for the numbers, the betting range suited all sorts of players. The RTP of 96.21% was pretty decent, and the medium-high volatility makes up for a good balance, especially if you take into account the 10,000x the bet max payout. 

To sum up, Drop ‘Em is a great slot, and since it has something for all kinds of audiences, I see no reason you shouldn’t add it to your list of slots to try out this summer.
