Could you introduce Slingshot Studios to our readers - what makes you unique?
"Slingshot is a slot game design studio with a mix of team members from those with 20+ years of experience in the industry to new talent just joining.
We are passionate about quality, great design and creating entertaining and memorable experiences for players."
Not only do your games look fantastic, but they also come packed with great features. We particularly love the Link&Win™ feature! What can you tell us about it?
"Link&Win™ has been a player favourite throughout the market. It has become a slot staple that can be taken in many different directions and iterated upon in many ways. Our implementation is a very classic approach to Link&Win™ for now, but there are some cool variants on the horizon. Watch this space."
Among your newest slot titles is Jade Shuriken with the main focus being the Epic Strike™ feature. Could you tell us more about this game and its features?
"Jade Shuriken is a special game for Slingshot; we developed the brand in the background while working on our last few titles. It’s taken many forms and the feature set has evolved over time.
When we saw the popularity of Epic Strike™ in the market we wanted to bring the feature into our portfolio and Jade as a brand had just the right energy level for it. We wanted to differentiate our version and add a little something extra to the mix.
We created Epic Strike™ RESPINS, an extension to the original feature that introduces the opportunity for players to be taken off to a cherry master-style bonus for a chance at even higher jackpot rewards.
We added the feature trail above the reels which shows the player when they will have the chance for this special version of Epic Strike™ to trigger, adding an extra level off excitement to the game. On those special spins, the shurikens ignite to show heightened potential where landing three or more will trigger the Epic Strike™ RESPINS."
And what about the Links of Ra slot? What can players expect from this game?
"Links of Ra is a classic Link&Win™ game with free spins and jackpots accessible through the Link&Win™ bonus. It’s our take on the popular Egyptian mythology theme where we’ve added some fantastic sci-fi-influenced renditions of the famed Egyptian Gods."
Another game that caught our players’ attention is the Leprechaun Links slot, thanks to its attractive features. What was your inspiration for this slot?
"Irish themes have been around throughout slot game history and are beloved by many players. Along with the classic Egyptian theme, we knew we had to have a Leprechaun game in our portfolio. There’s a lot of competition out there and we wanted to make sure our game stood out, grabbing player attention with arresting visuals.
The quality of illustration from the team on this game is beautiful, rich and detailed. We wanted to make it look like a place the player wanted to go and think we really pulled it off!"
Can you name the top three slots from Slingshot Studios that should be checked out by players who have never tried your games before?
"Jade Shuriken, Game of Thrones™ Power Stacks™ and an oldie but a goodie, Cash of Kingdoms."
Could you give us a sneak peek of what’s coming next from Slingshot Studios?
"We have an exciting new slot in the works called Spin Spin Sugar. It has a new feature called Link&Win™ Ladder and a Free Spins Randomizer which is a mini-game to create varied free spins experiences. In addition to this, the game contains the innovative Upsizer™ mechanic, giving the player an opportunity for a tailored feature experience."
