Welcome, Serena! We're glad to have you as our special guest in this week's interview series. Before we begin, could you introduce yourself and SpinPlay Games to our readers?
"Thank you for the opportunity to speak with you. I am Serena Petersen, co-founder and COO for SpinPlay Games. I grew up in Las Vegas and have been surrounded by casinos my entire life. I was lucky to begin my career as a games mathematician in land-based slots, then took a leap into a variety of slots enthusiast positions over the years, culminating in the founding of SpinPlay.
SpinPlay Games is based in Las Vegas, with each team member being a key contributor to the studio. Building the studio from the ground up has promoted a true camaraderie with the entire team. For me, it’s a great group of elite professionals and I know we all enjoy making awesome games together."
SpinPlay Games is hugely popular for its Amazing Link™ series of slots. Could you tell our readers more about this feature?
"The Amazing Link™ feature and pick feature, which is core to the series, gives the games a solid baseline and then the major enhancement for each title is in the free spins. Our original title, Amazing Link™ Zeus, features the roaming wild amazing reel, and in Apollo, you can retrigger while upgrading reels for the remaining free spins to have only wild or amazing symbols. With the recent release of Amazing Link™ Fates, we’ve added an entirely new free spins experience with a choice of three unlockable selections with varying volatility. There’ll also be more to come from the series later in the year."
Can you tell us more about the newly released Amazing Link™ Fates slot. What are some of the highlights of this game?
"As I mentioned, this latest instalment in the Amazing Link™ series has a unique take on the free spins experience to go along with the now-iconic Amazing Link™ feature. As the name suggests, in this game players must leave their destiny in the hands of the fates, who, when triggered through landing three trees of destiny, offer players one of three unique free spins features, each with its own set of rules.
The free spins selection is appropriately named by the Fates: Past, Present, and Future. Past Free Spins feature a random Wild Amazing Reel on each spin containing only Wild Amazing symbols. The Present Free Spins selection removes all low paying symbols with only high paying symbols remaining. Future Free Spins is the last selection to be unlocked and combines the Past and Present selection features offering Wild Amazing Reels with only high paying symbols. All paths are destined to trigger the Amazing Link™ feature much more often.
Building on the success of previous Amazing Link™ titles and adding to the excitement of the Amazing Link™ feature, we’re hoping to see great things from this game."
Wolf Call, one of your latest releases, incorporates jackpots, free spins, multipliers, and the exciting Power Range feature. What inspired you to create this game and combine such features?
"Our studio is full of animal lovers, with pets constantly involved in our team video calls, so we really enjoy making the animal-themed games together. Past performance shows that players love animal-themed games and are attracted to new innovative features. So, pair a love of animals with Wolf Call’s strong feature set, and it's a win-win! OWOOOO!"
What product of SpinPlay Games are you proud of the most?

To choose one game is like saying you love one of your children more than another, and I can’t do it! (But secretly, I do LOVE the lion from Diamond King Jackpots. So there may be a sequel coming soon to spotlight him again!)."
Could you give us a sneak peek of what’s coming next from SpinPlay Games in 2022?
"I’m really looking forward to our Wild Link Cleopatra title debuting in May. It’s a strong Egyptian theme featuring the ever beautiful Queen Cleopatra. The game is so much fun, combining standout graphics with innovative features like expanding reels, extra reels, cash prizes, jackpots, and multipliers.
