The Itero slot is not particularly complex in terms of the layout arrangement, as it takes place on a simple set of 4 rows and 5 reels. Winning combinations on this grid can be formed across a total of 20 paylines by landing three or more identical symbols on adjacent reels from left to right. It is as straightforward as it gets.

I could choose from a variety of betting options that can appeal to both high rollers and players who prefer smaller-sized bets. The betting range starts from the lowest option of £0.10 and goes up to the maximum one of £100 per spin.

Design, Symbols and Graphics

As I said before, the Itero slot is made with a unique concept, presented in an even more unique way. The top-notch graphics made my whole experience smoother and clearer and ultimately more immersive as well. As for the mythology theme, it is presented in a different way from what we may be used to seeing.

The high-paying symbols are the only things that provide colour in this game, while the rest of the screen is rather dark and mysterious. Both the reels and the backdrop are designed to look like pencil drawings. The backdrop is not very clear, but it seems to present a museum of some sort. As for the soundtrack, it is simple and calming.

Starting from the bottom of the paytable, there are the typical 10-A royals as the low-value symbols. They are followed by high-paying busts of Roman deities, each with a different-coloured circle around it. There are blue, green, light blue, yellow, and red. The red one is Jupiter, worth 10x the stake for a fully covered payline.

In the Itero slot, the wild, which can act as a substitute for the regular pay symbols, is presented by Cerberus. Then there is the lion scatter, and the final special symbol is the Hand of Jupiter, but more about them later.

RTP, Variance and Payouts for Itero Slot

I came across three main features in the Itero slot, so let's take a closer look at them and what they can offer.

Echo Spins Feature

This feature is related to the special Hand of Jupiter symbol we mentioned. Namely, when that symbol lands on a winning spin, it will reveal a number indicating the number of respins. However, instead of just regular respins with random outcomes, the Echo Spins will replicate the spin on which they were triggered. 

The Hand of Jupiter can reveal up to 8 Echo Spins, during which two types of multipliers can appear on the reels – additive and multiplicative. The former can be x2, x3, x4, x5, or x10, while the latter can be x2 or x3.

Wrath of Jupiter Feature

To trigger this feature, I had to land three scatters simultaneously. I was awarded 10 free spins, and the chance of landing Hand of Jupiter symbols was increased, as well as the chance of landing more valuable multipliers.

Gift from the Gods Feature

This feature required 4 triggering scatters and awarded 10 free spins. However, the multipliers that landed were collected above the reels during this feature. If Echo Spins are activated, that multiplier will be applied to the winnings and reset after the sequence ends.

Bonus Buy Feature

Unfortunately, the Bonus Buy feature is not available in the UK, but it allows players to directly access one of the bonus rounds. Wrath of Jupiter costs 129x the stake, while Gift from the Gods requires 200x the stake.
