About Net Gains Slot

The Net Gains slot plays across 6 reels, 4 rows, and 4,096 paylines. You can join the fitness animal crew by placing bets that can range from £0.10 to £60 per spin. The game is completely mobile-friendly and you can spin it from any device you want, on any operating system.

To win when playing the Net Gains slot, you have to land 3 or more matching symbols across a payline, starting from the leftmost reel. The maximum payout is capped at 15,000x the stake, which combined with the maximum bet, can turn into a big prize.

Relax Gaming has boosted the gameplay of the Net Gains slot with treasure-seeking beasts, but also with many brilliant bonus features. These include three types of Mystery Symbols and three types of Free Spins! I’ll cover them below in the bonus section of my Net Gains Slot Review.

Design, Symbols and Graphics

As I said at the beginning of my Net Gains Slot Review, this slot has a fishing theme with a unique twist. You’ll join a crew from the Lion Gym - the lion, rhino, croc, and shark. 

The crew is ready to embark on a hunting adventure, as can be seen from the game’s background. I like the design of this slot - it has top-notch graphics, awesome visuals, and a fantastic soundtrack.

The lower-paying symbols on the reels include the classic 10, J, Q, K and A Royals. On the other hand, the higher-paying symbols are themed and include a blue diamond, a rum bottle, an octopus, a crab and a lion. 

The shark is the wild symbol that substitutes for all regular symbols to help you win. Plus, it can land different mystery symbols which we’ll explore below. Finally, the golden bell is the scatter symbol that triggers the bonus round, where coin and collect symbols can also appear.

RTP, Variance and Payouts for Net Gains Slot

The Net Gains slot RTP (Return to Player) is well-rounded at 96.20%, and it is paired with a maximum win potential of up to 15,000x the stake. Moreover, the game is made with a highly volatile model, evident during my gameplay, as rewards were scarce but considerably more valuable.

Gameplay and Features on Net Gains Slot

Net Gains is a feature-packed online slot which is something I like the most in a game! So get ready and see how you can win up to 15,000x your bet from the bunch of features this Relax Gaming slot has.

Cascading Reels Feature

The Cascading Reels feature triggers after every winning spin. Then, the symbols that were part of the winning combination are removed from the reels, and new ones drop in to replace them. This can lead you to another winning combination in the same spin, after which the process will be repeated.

Mystery Symbols

During the base game, you can land up to 3 different mystery symbols which won’t be destroyed after a cascading win. Here are the available mystery symbols:

• Regular Mystery Symbol - when it lands, it’ll show a randomly selected symbol type to help you win;
• Octopus Mystery Symbol - when it lands, it’ll turn a randomly selected symbol type into mystery symbols;
• Bomb Mystery Symbol - when it lands, it’ll act as a regular mystery symbol but also destroy any non-mystery symbol after wins are completed.

Free Spins Features

You’ll trigger the Free Spins features as soon as you land 3 or more scatters on the same spin. Then, you’ll be asked to choose from the three free spins options. For every additional scatter symbol you land apart from the first 3, you will receive 2 extra spins.

Here are the available free spins features:

Sticky Mystery Free Spins

You’ll get 5 free spins here, where mystery symbols can appear on reels 2 to 6. After every cascading win, all mystery symbols will reveal the same symbol.

If you land an Octopus mystery symbol, it’ll reveal a symbol type where it’ll transform all symbols on reels 2 to 4 to become mystery symbols. Then, the Octopus will turn into a normal mystery symbol.

If you land a Bomb mystery symbol, it’ll reveal a random symbol type that corresponds with the other mystery symbols. Then, it’ll remove all regular symbols that are not part of a winning combination.

Stacked Wilds Free Spins

You’ll win 7 free spins here, where two types of wild symbols can appear on reels 2 to 6. First is the multiplier wild which can bring a value of between 2x and 5x, while the second is the countdown wild which starts with a counter of 3.

Every time you form a win with countdown wilds, their counter decreases by 1. When it has a value of 1 and is included in a win, it’ll disappear from the reels. Countdown wilds that are not removed will be dropped down to the bottom of the reels if there are any spins left.

Coin Collection Free Spins

You’ll win 8 free spins here, during which different coin symbols can appear. Plus, you can land a collector symbol on reel 6 which will collect all values from the coin symbols.

There are normal and persistent collectors, the latter of which will fall down to the bottom of the reels and stay there for the duration of the feature. The persistent collector also gives 5 extra free spins.

There are Bronze, Silver and Gold coin symbols which can appear and award the following prizes:

• Bronze Coin symbol - can appear with a value from 1x to 40x the stake;
• Silver Coin symbol - can appear with a value from 3x to 100x the stake;
• Gold Coin symbol - can appear with a value from 10x to 25000x the stake.

If you land 4 or more coins but no collectors, the coins will be removed and collected to a meter on the side of the reels. Then, if a collector lands on a future cascade on the same spin, it’ll collect the coin values.

The coins that are added to the meter will also add 1 point each. When you collect 10 points, you’ll win an extra free spin. Then, you’ll also increase the coin tiers so that you can benefit from even bigger cash prizes.

Net Gains might seem complicated at first glance, but once you understand how the bonus features work, you’ll see it’s an easy game. I enjoyed spinning the reels and triggering different types of free spins with mystery symbols, so the gameplay is never boring. 

I’m a huge fan of these Relax Gaming/Casino Grounds collaborations, and the Net Gains slot didn’t disappoint me. It’s a decent sequel!
