Even though it is common for Hacksaw Gaming to utilise a larger Cluster Pays grid, in the Alpha Eagle slot, they set the gameplay on a 5x4 grid with 20 paylines. You can get a payout if you land 3-5 matching symbols on a payline, positioned adjacently, left to right.

The betting range in the Alpha Eagle slot spreads from 10p minimum up to £100 maximum, per spin. Design, Symbols and Graphics

Rocky mountains with sharp edges covered with snow and the endless sky are the best surrounding for an Alpha Eagle. Blue and white are the colours we mostly see on and around the reels, but still, the graphics are sharp and clear, and nothing is messy in the design.

The retro pop-rock soundtrack doesn’t seem to match the theme, but it can be fun to hear it while you spin.

The paytable starts with the low-paying 10-A card symbols worth 2x to 3x the stake. Then the premiums follow, including feathers, fish, owls, birds coming out of eggs, and eagles which have a value of 7.5x to 25x the stake.

Wilds replace regular pay symbols in winning combinations where five on a payline pay 25x the stake.

Gameplay and Features on Alpha Eagle Slot

Alpha Eagle is a feature-packed slot with lots of winning opportunities and awesome gameplay. I was lucky to activate some features during my spinning, so I’ll share what I learned on the way below!

Stack'N'Sync Feature

If you land an S’n’S symbol, you’ll trigger this feature. It copies the respective reel on up to four other reels, and they become stacked with one type of symbol, standard, wild or Free Spins symbol.

A respin follows, where these reels synchronise, stopping at the same position. Any additional S’n’S symbol awards a respin and stacks other reels. You can see the stack symbol and its amount above the right reel, where a star represents a quarter of the reels. The number of stars indicates what part of the reel is stack.

Golden S'n'S Symbol

If a golden S’n’S symbol lands, the Stack’n’Synk feature starts with all five reels stacked. You can get only high-paying symbols and wilds only. A multiplier comes with it, and it also applies to the wins. It can be x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x20, x25, x50, or x100 multiplier.

Free Spins Feature

If at least three Free Spins symbols land on the grid, you can trigger the Free Spins feature. It is possible only during the Stack’N’Sync feature. The number of free spins depends on the number of starting symbols. During this bonus round, you have a bigger chance of activating the previously described features.

Eagle Link Feature

You'll trigger the Eagle Link feature if you hit 3 Claw scatters in the base game. First, you play only with Eagle symbols, Golden Eagle symbols and valueless symbols. You’ll start with three spins where both Eagle symbols remain on the grid as sticky. Any of them also resets the spin counter.

Golden Eagle symbols activate the feature. Then it connects the Eagle symbols vertically or horizontally, adjacent to both of the Eagle symbols already connected to the Eagle Link. The unconnected symbols don’t participate in the payout with no spins left.

Each Golden Eagle symbol awards an extra spin during the feature, and the multiplier that applies to the payout equals their number.
