Design, Symbols and Graphics

It is probably the dragon’s castle I see in the background, while the reels lie on its gate. In the bonus round, you’ll enter this gate and see the dragon’s place even closer. The colours are dark, but it is quite understandable considering the theme and the title of the game.

The band’s music plays while you spin the reels and on top of that, there are interesting animations to spice up the look of the slot.

The paytable in the Dio Killing the Dragon slot starts as usual, with low-paying symbols presented by the four card suits. Five of them on a payline pay 0.3x to 0.4x the stake. Premiums, which are three monsters and a heroic Dio symbol, pay from 0.5x to 1x the stake.

You might also land wild symbols during the game which are presented by a wolf. It replaces regular pay symbols in winning combinations and pays 2x the stake on a payline if five are on it.

Lock Up the Wolves Feature

You can trigger this feature if a wild lands in the open cage on the first reel. That wild is locked and another cage appears on the second reel. If a new wild lands there the same thing repeats up to four times, or until cages appear on the reels. You can trigger this feature only in the base game.

Free Spins Feature

If you land 3, 4 or 5 scatters in view, you’ll get 6, 8 or 12 free spins, respectively. During this bonus round, a cage appears around the three middle reels where wild symbols landing become locked.

Special symbols may appear on the fifth reel to add +2 free spins and activate some of the following modifiers:

The Fallen Angel modifier lands a wild at the top of reel one which may move one position down on each spin that follows until it disappears;
The Symbol Upgrade modifier ungraded the lowest value monster symbol to the Dio symbol. You can defeat the Dragon with all monster symbols turned into Dio;
The Wild Multiplier multiplier makes one locked wild in view to have its win multiplier increased by +1 up to x5.
