Heroes Gathering Slot Online

A table is laid out with tokens, gold coins and a board of three rows and five reels for the Heroes Gathering slot

Heroes the Gathering Introduction

The crew at Relax Gaming have created a game inspired by role playing table games that have defined a huge subculture of gaming. The game at hand plays like a regular slot, but it does give a nod to games like Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.

At any rate, this is a full online slot with a wild substitute symbol and a bonus/scatter that triggers a bonus feature which is all about rolling the dice and moving forward to win the amulets. The game's characters are the high-paying symbols on the 20 always active paylines.

The payouts on Heroes Gathering are made with three or more matching symbols that can fall on any one or more paylines. Perhaps the maximum exposure (payout) that can result from a single spin isn't huge (400x) but it does provide enough for medium wins, which are exciting nevertheless.

Heroes Gathering Design Features

The graphics design is painfully reminiscent of the board games, and even the perspective is slanted along the Y axis for a tilted view. We're fine with that, even though it is extremely unusual for an online slot game. At any rate, Relax Gaming have tried to do something on the wild side and the result isn't all that terrifying.

Heroes Gathering slots has a dynamic gameplay as well as moving parts. The wheel that determines the number of points on the board during the mini game is one of these, as are the Bonus symbols which do a thing with the sword and whose reels light up when two or more are in the pipeline to trigger the bonus.

Overall, Relax Gaming have made quite a decent online slot with enough features and movement for an exciting reel adventure.

How to Play Heroes Gathering Slot

The game starts with the push of the spin button which is an inconspicuous round double-arrow circle located on the right-hand side of the reel-set. Press it once for the reels to turn one time and press it again to cause them to short-stop.

If you want to play the Heroes Gathering slot hands-free, making minimal manual inputs, then you can use the autoplay functionality. This button is found to the bottom of Spin. Press it to open up the menu, where you can choose one of the automatic spins presets and add advanced options.

You can have the reels spin and stop faster by toggling on the fast-forward button in the upper right corner. To change the bets, use the coin stacks button from where you can choose from the list of bets. The smallest amount is ten pennies, while the biggest is £100.00 per spin.

Last but not least, when you press the bet button or the autoplay button the full menu opens up with its different tabs. Press the 'i' button to open up the paytable, where you can view all payouts based on the symbols, according to the active bet.

How to Win Heroes Gathering Slots

As we said, symbol wins are made with three of the same, or more. Five of the same for the optimal payouts.

Speaking of which, the most valuable symbol in the game is the paladin character, whose symbol pays 20x multiplied by the winning bet, or 20.00 for a payline of five, on a one pound win.

Second on the paytable in terms of value is the wizard, with 15.00x followed by the goblin whose mug pays 10x on the bet.

A set of medium tier symbols still pay amounts that are decent. The coat of arms on a shield - a golden bear gripping a rose in its jaws, pays 7.50x and the open grimoire pays 5x, as does the set of daggers.

The rest of the symbols are various jewels and there are the special symbols - the wild, the wheel and the bonus feature symbol.

Heroes Gathering Bonus Features

There are two bonus features in the game and both can be triggered by the Bonus symbol. Players actually need to see only two for the mini table game to trigger and three for the full table game bonus. The sword and waraxes symbol lands on the odd-number reels - one, three and five.

The main bonus starts with the reels spinning until you arrive at one amulet, of three. Each amulet corresponds to the gold, silver or bronze category. Each amulet has a prize to it and the amount that is awarded is twice the payline win.

Whenever the wheel symbol stops on reel three in the bonus it produces the number of fields the pawn moves on the board. Each position results in a prize, except the blank positions.

The most striking feature of the Heroes Gathering slot bonus feature are the multipliers that can become accrued - the most valuable of which is 100x on the bet.

Heroes Gathering Free Play

The game is available as a free play demo at online casinos that host demo slots. This allows trying the game out but without having to bet real money. Of course, the winnings are not with real money also and can not be withdrawn.

Heroes Gathering Closing Thoughts

The game isn’t going to blow you away with the potential payouts, but it does have an engaging gameplay that will keep you with it. The bonus feature is a way to make some moderate wins, relative to the bet, unless you are very lucky and reach the 100x multiplier.
