These are followed by high-paying character symbols, including a scared woman, a coroner, an agent, and the serial killer Bodycam Butcher, worth 5x the stake for a fully covered payline.

Gameplay and Features on Serial Slot

Like most other Nolimit City games, the Serial slot is enhanced with numerous bonus features and surprises. Let's explore them in more detail and the possibilities they can bring.

Respins Feature

This feature will be triggered each time a winning combination is formed. The participating symbols will remain on the reels while the rest of the symbols spin again. If any new symbols contribute to the winning combination, another respin will be awarded. Moreover, each respin will unlock one of the Enhancer Cells.

Enhancer Cells Feature

Enhancer Cells are located at the top and bottom of the reels, and whenever they unlock, they will reveal one of the following possibilities:

• xWays - up to 4 matching pay symbols will be revealed, and if 2 scatters hit, they will be transformed into xWays symbols;
• xNudge Wilds - a wild symbol that will nudge cover the reel, with each nudge increasing the multiplier by x1;
• Wild - a regular wild symbol;
• Character symbol - one of the character symbols will be revealed.

xSplit Wilds Feature

These special symbols can only appear on the rightmost reel and have a multiplier of x2. When it lands, it will split all symbols on its row. Different effects can take place depending on the types of symbols that are split.

Infectious xWays Feature

This symbol can transform into a scatter when revealed on the Enhancer Cells. Moreover, when it does, it will infect all the same normal-sized symbols across the reels and increase them to the same size.

The Search Feature

Landing three scatter symbols will trigger this feature, and the sum of the scatter values will be the number of awarded free spins. During the bonus round, the Enhancer Cells on the three middle reels will be unlocked, allowing for 1,125 possible paylines. Managing to land an extra xSplit Wild symbol will activate The Kill feature.

The Kill Feature

This feature is played out similarly to The Search feature, with a small difference. Namely, the xSplit Wild symbol that helped trigger this bonus round will remain on the reels, potentially going up or down on its reel.

xBizarre Feature

This is a special feature related to the maximum win potential. I already mentioned that it can reach up to 74,800x the stake, but this feature is the only way to achieve that. Namely, the maximum possible payout during the game is up to 18,700x the stake and achieving that amount will activate this feature.

A special gamble concept with three rounds will begin. Guessing all three rounds correctly will deliver 74,800x the stake, but guessing incorrectly will result in losing the entire prize.

Nolimit Bonus Feature

The Nolimit Bonus feature is not available in the UK, but it consists of several options for players to enter the bonus round directly. Activating The Search, The Kill, and a random draw is worth 78x, 480x, or 279x the stake, respectively.
