Design, Symbols and Graphics

The reels of the Pinatas & Ponies slot are placed on a green meadow, with lots of balloons, confetti and flags floating around. It’s a nice design with quality graphics and smooth gameplay, offering lots of candies and sweets on the reels.

The base game of the Pinatas & Ponies slot is pretty standard, with cascading reels and occasional wins. But, the gameplay becomes more interesting as soon as you trigger the bonus features - Multipliers and Free Spins. Let’s see how you can trigger them!

Multipliers

You’ll notice that the pinatas are asleep in the base game. However, they can randomly ‘wake up’ and give you a multiplier. There are 3 types of pinatas and they can award different multiplier values:

• Small Pinata - multipliers of 2x-5x the stake;
• Big Pinata - multipliers of 6x-10x the stake;
• Super Pinata - multipliers of 11x-15x the stake.

The multiplier you’ll win will be applied to the total win at the end of the spin. It’ll reset between spins in the base game. However, during the free spins, it’ll remain for the whole feature. I managed to get a 4x multiplier when I tested this game, which was fantastic!

Sweet Spins Feature

To trigger the Sweet Spins feature, you need to land at least 3 scatter symbols on the same spin. You’ll win 10 Free Spins for 3 scatters, plus 2 Free Spins for any extra scatter symbol.

You’ll notice that a progress bar is active during the free spins. This bar can be filled with winning symbols and it reveals pinata symbols (multipliers). Here, the multipliers can reach up to 30x the stake. And as I said above, the multipliers won’t reset between free spins; they’ll stay until the feature ends.

Pinatas & Ponies is an interesting slot that has exciting features to offer. However, it’s similar to many slots we’re seeing these days, not offering anything unique. It’s a standard slot with decent payouts and a free spins bonus. The only downside for me in this game is the below-average RTP.
